The view is much better from their side and they have more to do as far as restaurants and activities, if you would like to make a full day out of this. My favorite spot to recommend is Clifton Hills, this is too much fun to describe in one short paragraph, trust me! The falls does have a variety of attractions close by, two popular sites are the Cave of the Winds, and the Aquarium of Niagara.
