One of the Greatest aspects to Tonawanda are the walking and Biking trails within the boarders of the town. Its history has always been pretty blue collar, as it was once a huge lumber city. Tonawanda is not very diverse in its demographics being a small city but it has a great school system, amazing local events, unique shops, great neighborhoods and only a few minute drive to all of the major amenities that make life great. The parks are fantastic and offer year round access to the Niagara River so you can get out on your boat, go jet skiing, have picnics by the water, utilize the extensive walk and bike paths and just generally enjoy nature.
